RIP: Steve Jobs
Jobs was perhaps one of the greatest business minds of my lifetime. Apple's start and their comeback are two of the greatest business stories in history. Regardless of you opinion of their products, I hope y'all will take a moment to reflect on his accomplishment and innovation.

On the Manifestation of the Babysitting Co-op, and the Plight of the Federal Reserve
First off, I think the idea of a baby-sitting co-op is interesting concept on its own. It’s worth noting that the flaw where people ran out coupons was overcame using a cap-and-trade system.
The issues with the Fed are as complicated, and I am hesitant to argue for any particular action that they should take. I am reminded of parable of the zen master; in other words, one cannot be sure if what you want to do is right until after it is done. In the end, however, I look at the Fed’s actions as more fine-tuning transactions, having its primary strength over loaning and payment, rather than being a all-powerful controller of the economies direction.
